The 2012 Elverys Sports Achill Half Marathon was officially launched by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny at Government Buildings in Dublin on 24th January. Also present were Elverys Sports Power Team Brand Ambassadors Ger Dolan and Claire McGlynn; Michael Kearney, CEO Carlton Hotel Group; Carmen Taheny, ISPCC Corporate Fundraising; John Foley, CEO Athletics Ireland; Frank Greally, Editor of Irish Runner magazine; Marie Cooney from Tipperary Water; Pauric Corrigan, Chair of Achill Half Marathon; and Helen Applegarth and Elaine Gallagher of the Achill Half Marathon organising committee.
